PRC fields 12 candidates in Mat'land North

People's Rainbow Coalition has fielded 12 Parliamentary Candidates out of possible 13 constituencies.
"We have put great men and women with positive political standing in the Province. This marks the beginning of an intensive campaign. I am so excited by the level of participation by our people in the region. So far we commend ZEC on the nomination processes that went on smoothly, albeit till very late because of the many aspiring candidates," said the party.
"The huge turn out of aspiring candidates is encouraging for the Matabeleland region as it has never happened before particularly for a Province which knows nothing more than marginalisation. This is a positive sign and I hope this mind-set can be translated to development The saddest thing though is that the opposition vote may be divided but we urge the people of Mat North and the region to vote for the PRC as we are poised to form the next government."
