Hwange woman beaten up by hubby for dressing smart

A Hwange woman, Janet Phiri got a thorough beating from her husband for dressing up smarter than usual.
Janet's hubby, Tafadzwa Phiri (52) thought his was displaying a dress code similar to prostitutes.
Phiri could not believe his wife who had said she spent the whole day at home. But the dressing was enough for Phiri to beat her leading her to flee to her aunt's place for refuge.
However, in court before Vivian Moyo, Janet pleaded for the courts not to impose a jail term to her husband.
Phiri escaped with a caution instead of a three month jail sentence that was suspended.
