A 19 year old Binga woman was raped by her ex-boyfriend 17 times in three days after being held hostage at her bedroom hut with a fake gun as a fear factor.
Dickson Musaka (22) was jilted by his girlfriend and that troubling him for some time. As a way of revenge, Musaka manufactured a gun and proceeded to her place.
On April 26, around 9pm, Musaka stormed at her hut and ordered her not to make any noise.
He camped there for three days and in the process raped her 17 times. After three days, Musaka emerged from her hut and approached the ex-girlfriend brother and warning him of making a police report. He then left the homestead giving his ex-girlfriends time to dash to the police.
After being alerted that Musaka was "armed" police wasted no time in getting their guns ready.
Musaka was shot on the foot and hand by the police who only realised that the gun was homemade and posed no danger.
Appearing in court, Musaka was charged with rape and threatening to kill and remanded in custody to May 14.
He was referred to Binga Hospital for treatment, but the court also discovered that Musaka is on a wanted list for stock theft.
