GWERU provincial magistrate Mr Sithembinkosi Msipa yesterday deferred the trial of a 55-year-old man who is facing a charge of exposing his erect manhood to his tenant to 14 May.

This was after the complainant, who is a tenant at the accused, Andrew Gijima's house, failed to turn up for the court session yesterday due to other commitments.

Gijima is facing an indecent exposure charge after he allegedly stormed into the bedroom of the tenant at night and removed his clothes exposing his erect manhood as he made advances to the complainant.

For the State, Mr Michael Mhene told the court that on 8 April this year, and at about 10pm, Gijima got into the tenant's bedroom and proposed love to her.

The complainant is a tenant at Gijima's house.

Mr Mhene said after the tenant turned down Gijima's love advances, he then removed all his clothes and threw himself on the complainant's bed with his manhood erect.

The court heard that the tenant then bolted out of the room and raised an alarm.

Mr Mhene said the matter was reported to the police leading to Gijima's arrest.
