A 25 year old man from Binga stunned the courts when he told a magistrate that he assaulted his mother after she grabbed his manhood.
Edmore Simaluwa appeared in court on Tuesday facing assault charges after assaulting Silver Mutale (41) in a quarrel over the estate of his father.
Allegations are that, Simaluwa visited his mother's home on last month demanding some property which was left by his late father in his mother's custody.
However, Mutale reportedly denied and in a fit of rage Simaluwa punched his mother with all over the body before picking a log and struck her on the right arm and ribs.
As a result of the assault, Mutale lost consciousness.
In mitigation, Simaluwa told Binga magistrate Stephen Ndlovu that, "she grabbed my manhood and I had to stop her by assaulting her."
