Man arrested for forcing maid to 'replace' wife in bed

A 36-year-old man from Dombodema area in Plumtree allegedly ordered a domestic worker to perform her employer's duties by satisfying his sexual zest.
Isaiah Nleya is reported to have ordered the domestic worker (18) to have sex with him saying it was part of her duties as she was was ate their matrimonial home to 'replace' his wife.
It is reported that Nleya's wife had gone to visit her family leaving the complainant to look after her two children. In the evening when it was time to sleep, Nleya told the complainant that she was supposed to sleep in his bedroom since she had come to do his wife's duties.
The complainant refused to share the bed with the accused and opted to sleep on the floor with children. The court heard that during the night when the complainant had fallen asleep, the accused took advantage of the situation and got into her blankets. It is alleged that he started touching the complainant all over her body. She woke up upon feeling that somebody was rubbing her private parts.
Realising that the complainant was not interested in his game as she was screaming, the accused returned to his bed. On the following day, the complainant reported the matter to the police leading to the arrest of the accused. Nleya was hauled before Plumtree magistrate Mr Livared Phillimon facing charges of indecent assault.
He pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment of which two months were suspended on condition that he does not commit a similar offence in a period of five years.
