The Basement Nightclub and Club Forty40 in Bulawayo are locked in a war of words over Bev ' the raunchy dancer and the Sexy Angels from Harare who have taken the City of Kings by storm.

Both insist that Bev and her group will be at their clubs tomorrow.

On Saturday she takes her act to Gwanda at the Riverdance Club but there is a dispute over her shows in Bulawayo tomorrow and on Sunday.

The general manager of Club Forty40, Andrew Nzombe, on Sunday said Bev and the Sexy Angels were billed to perform at his club tomorrow and on Sunday.

This was confirmed by Bev's manager Harpers Mapimidze.

On Monday the story had changed as Nzombe said she was now billed to perform only on Friday.

Mapimidze then said Bev's show would be at The Basement Night Club not at Club Forty40.

This development was then confirmed by Omega Sibanda who runs The Basement Nightclub.

Sibanda said Bev would be at his joint tomorrow and on Sunday as he had a long running contract with Bev until the end of the year.

"Fans of Bev should come and see her and tickets are being sold in advance. We want about 150 people and the show will be called "A Night with Bev".

"People should brace themselves for a show to remember. I have a contract with her until the end of the year and she is definitely coming to The Basement," said Sibanda.

Mapimidze said the dance troupe would be in Bulawayo at The Basement tomorrow, Riverdance in Gwanda on Saturday and back at The Basement on Sunday.

However, the general manager of Club Forty40 Nzombe was adamant and said they were in the process of coming up with posters and adverts for her show in Bulawayo at their joint.

"We will have her at the club and we are in the process of putting up posters and placing adverts in the media to that effect," said Nzombe.

Bev and the Sexy Angels are arguably crowd pullers and are viewed as money making machines with their dance antics that leave little to the imagination and it is not surprising that clubs want to lay claim to her.
