A 23-year-old man from Kariangwe area allegedly stabbed his drinking mate with a screwdriver following a misunderstanding over a jacket.
Miyambo Mudimba pleaded guilty when he appeared before Binga resident magistrate Stephen Ndlovu.
He was sentenced to 12 months in jail. Six months were suspended for five years, while the other six were shelved on condition he performed 210 hours of community service.
