Police have arrested a deputy school head and a teacher at Kwalu Secondary School, some 130km west of Beitbridge town, on allegations of sexually abusing two girls at the same school.
The complainants, who are aged 14 and 15 years, are Form Two pupils at the school.
Officer commanding Beitbridge district Chief Superintendent Lawrence Chinhengo said they arrested a teacher, Forget Mbedzi, and the deputy head, Lifatsi Mbedzi, on suspicion of separately raping the schoolgirls.
He said the suspects allegedly raped the complainants in June this year.
This becomes a third reported incident where schoolgirls have allegedly been abused by teachers in the district.
Last week, a teacher at Toporo went into hiding after he was accused of raping a Grade Seven pupil at the school thrice.
The suspect is still at large.
