A Hwange man who allegedly murdered his wife whom he accused of infidelity, has appeared in court facing murder charges.
Nicholas Ncube (25), of 1452 DRC Houses in the coal-mining town allegedly killed Karen Mudimba (22) on 28 December, accusing her of infidelity.
He was not formally charged with murder when he appeared before Hwange magistrate Mrs Rose Dube on Thursday.
Ncube was remanded in custody to 16 January and advised to apply to the High Court for bail.
The State would seek to prove that Ncube allegedly killed Mudimba by hitting her with a stone before stabbing her in the chest.
Mudimba died on the spot. Ncube allegedly fled from the scene after realising he had killed his wife.
Mr Sifelumusa Fuzane is representing the State.
