Nkomo's body to lie in state in Tsholotsho

The body of the late Landa John Nkomo has left One Commando Funeral Parlour enroute Tsholotsho his rural home in Matabeleland North province where it will lie in state at his mother's home.
On Sunday, the body will be flown to Landa John Nkomo secondary school before being taken to White City stadium in Bulawayo where people will bid farewell to the late revolutionary icon.
From White City stadium, Nkomo's body will briefly lie in state at his house in Bulawayo before it is flown back to Harare where it will lie in state at his Milton Park house.
On Monday morning, Nkomo's body will be taken to Stodart hall in Mbare before burial at the National Heroes' Acre.
The Zanu-PF Politburo declared the late Vice President, Landa John Nkomo, a national hero at its meeting Friday afternoon.
