Trevor Ncube to launch a daily newspaper for the southern region of Zimbabwe

Alpha Media Holdings announce that it will launch a new daily newspaper titled Southern Eye on the 3rd of June.
As the name suggests, the title is targeted at readers in the southern parts of Zimbabwe, that is Midlands, Masvingo and the Matebeleland provinces.
Announcing the new title, AMH commercial director, Rita Chinyoka, said the paper will compete with the state owned Chronicle.
The Southern Eye will join other AMH titles, NewsDay, Standard and Independent.
