Cashier disappears with employer's $20 000

POLICE in Gweru are investigating a case of theft involving a man who last month allegedly stole more than $20 000 from his employers, Trevor Dollar Real Estate Agents.
The man, Henry Munyaradzi Gwanzura, was employed as a cashier at Trevor Dollar, Gweru's leading estate agents.
Acting Midlands Police spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said the suspect Gwanzura disappeared with his employers' cash soon after knocking off on 3 April.
"Gwanzura was on duty" on the day in question, collecting cash from the company's clients.
"He collected $20 700. On knocking off, Gwanzura did not handover the money he had collected as per procedure. He took all the cash and disappeared." he said.
Insp Mahoko said Gwanzura's whereabouts were not known and the police have since launched a manhunt for him.
He said Gwanzura's last known address was 11 Deal Road, Southdowns, Gwera.
"The suspects national registration number is 29-223802 B25.
"Police are appealing to members of the public who might have information on the whereabouts of Gwanzura to contact any nearest police station or use police suggestion boxes," said Insp Mahoko.
