A 23-year-old Gwanda woman from Phakama is living in distress after all the man she had been in love with committed suicide by hanging soon after she dumped them.

The woman, Nomzamo Dube is being blamed for the loss of four lives.

A close friend of the woman said: "Dube is one woman who has suffered a lot in life after the death of all her ex-boyfriends.

"The problem is that these men will be madly in love with her that whenever she tells them that it's over, they go on to take their lives.

"People now look at her with suspicion and she is even afraid of walking on the streets because heads always turn and whispers start wherever she passes," said the source.

She revealed that her friend is even afraid of moving on with her life in fear that it would be difficult to part ways with a man as he might also commit suicide.

"All her four ex-boyfriends committed suicide by hanging themselves. She feels guilty and responsible for their deaths as

she believes they all loved her too much and failed to live without her.

"Though none of the boyfriends families has ever confronted her, she always feels guilty as she would not be sure whether she is the cause of all this," said the friend.

She revealed that Dube's fourth boy-friend committed suicide last month and after the incident, she moved from Gwanda as she could not handle rumours.

When Dube was contacted for comment she confirmed that her four ex-boyfriends committed suicide saying: "I am also in a dilemma of whether they commit suicide because of me or they will be having their own problems.

"I am now staying in Beitbridge because people were saying a lot of bad things about me, therefore I decided to move."
