The MDC led by Professor Welshman Ncube yesterday launched its manifesto for the harmonised elections at Siyachilaba Business Centre in Binga.
The manifesto dubbed "Devolution is our new Revolution" promises to empower communities.
Addressing MDC supporters Prof Ncube said the country has enough resources to make every Zimbabwean prosper.
"Zimbabwe is blessed with enough resources to ensure that we have food on our tables. We have diamonds, gold and coal but because we do not have leadership in the country we have remained poor," he said.
The MDC will implement its devolution policy based on its programme called ACTIONS (Access, Control, Transformation, Initiative, Organisation, New technologies and Sustainability. Prof Ncube the manifesto was underpinned by the three principles of governance, the economy and the social agenda.
Prof Ncube repeated that MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai was unfit to run the country accusing him of corruption. He said his party was the only party capable of turning around the country.
"The team that you have seen is the only team that has the attributes to run the country. Zanu PF and the MDC-T are the same and cannot correct the problems we are facing," he said.
