Khaya Moyo adopts JZ Moyo's grandson

THE Zanu-PF National Chairman, Simon Khaya Moyo, has adopted a 12-year-old boy from Matobo District and pledged to cater for his educational expenses up to university level.
Khaya Moyo announced his decision to adopt Prime Ndlovu, a grandson of the late nationalist and National Hero, Jason Ziyaphapha Moyo, during a Zanu-PF Provincial Co-ordinating Committee meeting for Matabeleland South in Gwanda Town on Saturday.
Prime is a Grade Six pupil at Whitewaters Primary School along the Bulawayo-Kezi Road and stays with his grandmother at Dema Village in Ward 17 under Chief Malaki Masuku. His mother is the daughter of the late J Z Moyo who was the second Vice President of Zapu who was killed by a parcel bomb in Zambia on 22 January 1977. He was reburied at the National Heroes Acre in on 11 August 1981.
In an interview on Monday, Khaya Moyo said he was touched by the boy's amazing poetic talent during one of his visits to the district during the election campaigns.
