Update on the Pathfinder coach accident

A total of 66 people were on board the pathfinder bus. About 37 injured have been rushed to the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH). Private vehicles, the Fire Brigade, Government and Mars ambulances were among those who assisted in transporting the casualties.

Six people, including the driver and a passenger in the haulage truck, have died in the accident. Rescue crews are searching the vicinity for people who might have been thrown out of the bus on impact.

Bus and truck have been separated. Four people have been confirmed dead. it is still not clear how many people were on board both the bus and the truck.
The accident appears to be worse than what was initially suspected. Nine people with varying degrees of injury just extricated.
The Fire Brigade crew is trying to reach four visible others who are feared dead. The haulage truck was carrying coal.
It is suspected more people could be buried under the rubble. The passenger list has not been located yet.
The whole front of the pathfinder bus is mingled with the head of a haulage truck.
Eight ambulances are on the scene waiting to ferry the injured to Bulawayo hospitals!
