Plumtree Town to get first traffic lights

Plumtree Town will soon have traffic lights at its roads after the local authority issued tenders seeking firms with a technical knowhow to supply and fit the traffic lights.

The border town has no single traffic lights.

"The local authority of Plumtree invites sealed tenders from eligible firms for the following, Supply and installation of Traffic light systems" said town Council Secretary, Davis Dumezweni Luthe in a notice.

Most people seeking drivers licences where flocking to the town as it was easy to pass road tests as the roads are not robot controlled.
