Man threatens girl (12) with lightning, robs her of v1rginity

JUST for the love of nature's grandest occasion.
A cattle minder from Swati Village in Inyathi used one implausible way to rob a 12-year-old girl's v1rginity when he threatened to strike her with a bolt of lightning if she denied him access between her legs.
Abel Ngwenya (21) went on to direct his threats to the victim (name withheld) if she dared report the matter to anyone.
Meanwhile, as fate would have it Ngwenya's desperate pursuit for the forbidden fruit through aggressive means caused him to be condemned to jail for 20 years after he was later arrested for rape.
He would, however, serve 15 years after Bulawayo regional magistrate Sikhumbuzo Nyathi who was presiding over his four counts of rape suspended five years of the sentence on condition that he would not within that period commit a crime of a similar nature.
Circumstances as read to the court by prosecutor Robin Mukura were that on 12 March last year at around 7 pm the serial rapist Ngwenya went to the girl who was doing Grade Six at Mqabuko Primary School's homestead and found her with her siblings.
It is reported that after "chatting" for sometime the complainant and her siblings went and retired to their bedroom hut leaving the accused to sleep alone in their kitchen hut
The court heard that at around midnight the accused woke up and went to the bedroom hut where the complainant was sleeping with her siblings.
Upon arrival he sneaked into the complainants blankets and started removing her under-garment. As a result the complainant woke up and started screaming for help.
Ngwenya in a bid to scare her away and subsequently buy her silence threatened to strike her with a bolt of lightning, if she ever refused to obey his orders.
After successfully buying her silence he undressed her and raped her once. During the process the complainant who felt some pains started screaming before Ngwenya ordered her to keep quiet saying if she screamed he would remotely "invite" the bolt of lightning to strike her.
The accused using the same modus operandi of threatening to unleash a bolt of lighting to the complainant raped her on three other occasions.
After realising that the accused was not a real architect of African sciences who can "manufacture" a bolt of lightning as he was claiming the complainant reported the matter to her mother who later reported it to the police leading to the arrest of the accused.
