Chief Nkalakatha dies

CHIEF Nkalakatha in Nkayi, Matabeleland North died on Thursday evening at Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo after a short illness.
He was 49.
Chief Nkalakatha, who was born Gilford Ndiweni, was the fifth in Nkalakatha chieftaincy after being installed on October 29 1998.
Nkayi district administrator Etwell Moses Mbewe said Chief Nkalakatha was a member of the Matabeleland North Provincial Council of Chiefs and would be buried at Ayethe village in Nkalakatha today.
He is survived by his wife Thandekile Khumalo and four children, Thobani, Princess, Zwelani and Heather.
He was 49.
