Chief Mvuthu of Hwange dies

Chief Mvuthu of Hwange has died. He was 53.
Chief Mvuthu died last night at Hwange Colliery Hospital after being in and out of hospital for some time.
He was appointed as Chief by the President on the 7th July in 2008 and officially installed on the 2nd of September in 2008.
Hwange District Administrator Mr Tapera said the late Chief Mvuthu was instrumental in the development of Ndlovu Business Centre which is now a growth point and active in promoting the issues of farming in the district.
He said the district has received the news of his death with shock and disbelief.
He said the late chief will be sadly missed by all.
Born on the 10th of October in 1961 in Hwange, the late Chief, whose full name is Nyangezizwe Mlotshwa, grew up in district and later worked for the Hwange Colliery Mine in the workshop section.
At the time of his death, Chief Mvuthu was the Chairperson of the Hwange Community Share Ownership Trust.
He is survived by his wife Epiphania and three children all girls.
Burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
