Two women seriously injured in buffalo attack

TWO women were seriously injured by a buffalo that attacked them while working in sugarcane fields in Hippo Valley Estates on Monday.
Sheila Karima (53) and Ndaizivei Rukambe (39) are still admitted at Hippo Valley Medical Centre where they are reported to be seriously ill.
National police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident yesterday.
"The two were in a sugarcane field when the buffalo emerged and charged towards them. It first attacked Karima on the stomach and then Rukambe on the left side of the breast," he said.
Last week, a buffalo killed a woman and seriously injured three other people on different occasions in the Lubimbi area of Binga.
