The Gwanda municipality has resolved to send a probe team to it's Gwanda High School after parents complained of high levels of indiscipline accusing the school's administration of incompetency.

Located in Ward 7 the day school boosts of a record number of students with about a thousand pupils.

A full council meeting reportedly resolved to send a team to the school to investigate the goings-on.

Council, which runs the school has reportedly been asked to act on the schools administrator as a matter of urgency.

The parents reportedly fell out of favour with the school headmaster, Arthur Maphosa after he unannounced during a speech day last year that ten girls had dropped out of school due to pregnancy.

Parents accuse the school administration of failing to instil discipline amongst the pupils.

Some boys reportedly attend school drank and many have resorted to smoking mbanje.

Motorists have also complained of pupils blocking a major road adjacent to the school when going in and out of school.
