Chief Sivalo of Nkayi dies

Chief Sivalo of Nkayi in Matabeleland North has died.
Sivalo the oldest serving chief in Zimbabwe died on Monday afternoon at the Hillside Medical Clinic in Bulawayo at the age of 94. Sivalo was crowned chief in 1940 and at his death was the longest serving chief in the country.
Burial arrangements of the chief are yet to be announced. He is survived by seven elderly children and several grand and great grand children stretching to the fourth generation..
