Man displays 'girlfriend's' picture in matrimonial bedroom

A MADLY in love Gokwe man reportedly went against all odds and displayed his alleged girlfriend's picture in his matrimonial bedroom.
It is said Takavarasha Muzizi failed to control his love for his newly found girlfriend and disrespected his wife Tamari Mahumutsha by displaying the picture in their bedroom.
Mahumutsha failed to tolerate such betrayal and tore Loveness Sikhuni's picture in front of her husband.
Muzizi was not happy with his wife's actions and therefore rushed to his girlfriend's place and informed her about what had transpired.
The man returned in the company of his alleged girlfriend resulting in a misunderstanding between the two women.
They reportedly exchanged harsh words and the man stood aside watching and never said a word.
Sikhuni became angry when she realised pieces of her picture on the ground and started assaulting Mahumutsha.
She thoroughly bashed the woman with fists all over the body. The woman then reported the matter to the police and was referred to hospital for treatment
Sikhuni was arrested on assault charges. She was hauled before Gokwe resident magistrate Mr Shepherd Mjanja and pleaded guilty to the charges.
However, she claimed that Muzizi was proposing love to her and was once married to her sister.
However, the magistrate slapped Sikhuni with 12 months imprisonment of which six months were suspended on condition of five years of good behaviour and for the remaining six months she was ordered to perform 210 hours of community service at Masikiri Primary school.
