Tsholotsho District Hospital has for the past years been operating without toilets, Paul Chimedza, the Health and Child Care deputy minister, has been told.

This came out during the deputy minister's tour of Matabeleland North province to assess the state of public health institutions.

As a result, patients in wards and expecting mothers have to walk for about 500 metres access to Blair toilets which are within the hospital premises.
