Man (20) nabbed for sodomy

A 20-year Gwanda man landed himself in murky water after failing to control his insatiable appetite for sex which prompted him to commit the "Sodom" sin on his neighbor's four-year old son.

The court heard that Bukhosi Dube of Buvuma area under Chief Marupi took advantage of the boy (name withheld) who had gone to play at his homestead and dragged him to his bedroom where he forcefully removed his trousers and instructed him to lie down on the bed on his stomach.

The boy, the court heard, complied and Dube allegedly sodomised him. Luck ran out of him when the boy narrated the ordeal to his mother who then made a police report.

Dube appeared before regional magistrate Joseph Mabeza facing charges of aggravated indecent assault.  He denied the charges but was remanded in custody to October 15 for judgment.
