'Adulterer' caught red-handed, fatally stabbed

BINGA - A man was on Tuesday night fatally stabbed after he his neighbour caught him under sheets with his wife.

The man whose name could not be immediately ascertained was allegedly stabbed - using a spear - by a village head - a Muleya who caught him red handed with his wife at his homestead.

It is alleged that when Muleya returned from work tonight he found his wife with the deceased in their bedroom. Sources allege that Muleya peeped through the bedroom window and overheard his 'estranged' wife commending the man for his bedroom prowess. The wife reportedly said the man was better than her husband who underperformed in bed.

In fury, Muleya allegedly pushed open the bedroom door and stabbed the deceased on the head several times with a spear until it stuck on the victim's head. Neighbours came to intervene but that could not save the man's life as he died on his way to hospital.

After the gruesome murder, Muleya was arrested although Matabeleland North Police boss Sipiwe Makonese was not immediately available to confirm the incident.
