Tsholotsho heading for another disaster as houses collapse

Tsholotsho villagers  have started experiencing the effects of heavy rains as some houses have started collapsing.

Although Tsholotsho District Administrator Nosizi Dube was not reachable for comment, affected villagers confirmed the developments.

"The flooding has started and a number of houses are now collapsing," said Samson Dube from Mbamba area.

"If the rains persist, we are headed for another disaster like last year."

Nomalanga Siziba said the torrential rains would  affect the crops.

"The crops are turning yellow because of the heavy rains. Things are really getting bad," she said.
