Man rapes girl as deranged mother watches

A Mbembesi man has been arrested for raping 15-year girl as her mentally ill mother watched helplessly.
The man, Washington Khoza was hauled before the Bulawayo magistrate Sibongile Msipa facing rape charges.
Khoza pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded in custody to 13 February.
According to the state outline read by prosecutor, Nkathazo Dlodlo, on March, 21, 2010 the victim was walking with her mother and 7-year-old cousin at Mbembesi Business Centre around 8pm.
Dlodlo said the family was spotted by the village herd, Graemer Majola who instructed Khonza to ferry them home with his scotch cart.
While on their way, Dlodlo said, Khoza demanded sex from the15-year-old who refused.
Khoza then allegedly slapped the girl threatening to assault her cousin, before raping her.
