Victoria Falls will be exempted from power and water cuts on the week of President Mugabe's 91st Birthday celebrations to be held in the resort town on 28 February.
The Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe has also pledged to provide accommodation for more than 100 school children that will be attending the celebrations.
This was revealed at a preparation meeting chaired by Matabeleland North provincial minister Cain Mathema last Friday.
Zanu PF Matabeleland North chairperson Richard Moyo who was part of the meeting confirmed the developments.
"Zesa and Zinwa have given us assurance that they won't cut power and water supplies in the week of President Mugabe's birthday," he said.
Moyo at the meeting, warned Zanu PF youths against engaging in corrupt activities at the expense of Mugabe's birthday.
Mugabe last week tripped over a badly laid carpet and fell at the Harare International Airport after addressing Zanu PF supporters.
The ageing Zanu PF leader had just arrived from Ethiopia where he had assumed African Union chairmanship.
Mugabe became a butt of jokes in the social media after the embarrassing fall.
