Prayer meeting for rain In a ward development meeting on the 5-2-15 kraal heads and villagers in ward 11 decided to have an all day prayer meeting for rain.This comes after the villagers observed that the rain was falling in neighbouring villages like Lulwane,Magodola,Hondola , Zibalongwe,etc but avoiding Ngubomlilo.
It is widely believed in the village that the God is not happy with the disrect people are showing on the Kalaga dam(main water source) .For example some churches who worship near the dam leave their multi coloured artefacts near the dam,and in 2014 a teenager was murdered and thrown into the dam.
The prayer meeting will cleanse the dam vicinity and appease any wronged spirit which is interfering with the rain pattern.
The Headman Ngwizi has given permission for all churches in the ward to partake in this ceremony. In the same meeting the area councillor a Mr Ndlovu pleaded with the villagers to unite when it comes to natural disasters and development issues.
All in the meeting were in favour of a united front in dealing with issues affecting the ward as it could speedily solve problems and accelerate development in the ward.Ward 11 is the least developed ward in tsholotsho due to constant infighting among the kraalheads.
The prayer meeting will be held on Wednesday 11 February 2015 starting at 0600am till late.
