In a wrangle involving three families, a Chikoka man, under chief Sikalenge has vowed to sell their family house illegally after the death of his father 5 years ago.
The man (name with held for security reasons), is believed to have organised with his mother (the late's second wife) to go and confirm from Binga police station how they could sell the estate and they were told to go through the respective town council (Nyamhunga) for detail information.
It is alleged that, the man has gained power since the death of his father and has even threaten to sue his step brother who is currently occupying the house.
In 2011, Peter (not real name), is alleged to have told his step brother who is based in the resort town of Kariba to stop processing the issue of their father's package (pension).
"Uyanda kuuzya ng'anda, pesi mwana wakusuwa nini," (Tonga meaning: 'he wants to grab the estate whilst he is from the second house' ) said another lady from the neighbourhood.
The man has on several occasions demanded his young brother who is occupying the house to move out, but all has been in limbo.
Furthermore, it is alleged that the man's mother bewitched his late father in an attempt to benefit from the deceased's package and estate.
