Soldier kicks pregnant wife on the stomach for disobeying orders

A no nonsense solider based at HQ1 Brigade lashed his pregnant wife for refusing to go to the rural areas and stay there.
Xavier Kwenda aged 26 assaulted Sharai Mupombwa by kicking her on the stomach and punched her.
She is admitted at Mpilo Hospital.
The court heard that on 2 May around 8am, Kwenda ordered his wife to pack her belongings and head to the rural area.
Sharai questioned her hubby on the move and that angered the soldier.
That earned her assault leading to her to flee the house. Kwenda is on $100 bail and due in court on May 12.
