Businesswoman dragged from bed, undressed and robbed

An Esigodini businesswoman, Samukeliso Dlamini, was raided by a five men gang who tied her up with barbed wire and burnt her breast and thighs with a log while demanding $3,000 from her.
She had been dragged from bed where she was sleeping with her husband and was undressed before being assaulted.
Dlamini owns Ziyadinga General Dealer.
According to the Chronicle, the gang got away with $1,200, a Nokia cellphone and clothes valued at $2,147.
One of the suspected robbers, Nqobizitha Ndlovu, 33, of Ntabenemnyama village under Chief Gwebu briefly appeared before Gwanda magistrate Arafat Kozanai facing robbery and assault charges.
He was not asked to plead and was remanded in custody to Thursday.
