Victoria Falls bush sex murder: Two suspects arrested

TWO people have been arrested in Victoria Falls in connection with the grisly murder of a Mosi-Oa–Tunya High school student who was beaten to death before being thrown into the Zambezi River on Wednesday night.
Acting officer commanding Victoria Falls police, Superintendent Dominic Sibanda said several other suspects had been released after interviews.
"I cannot disclose the names of the suspects as it might disturb the investigations, but we are doing our best to bring the assailants to book," he said.
Praise Mpofu (16) was attacked and killed on Wednesday night by two unknown men and her body was found floating in the Zambezi River on Thursday morning.
Her boyfriend Brian Dube (21) was left for dead and is still admitted at a local hospital after he was severely beaten by the same assailants near the Big Tree.
Police said the attackers left evidence that led them to suspect that it was a planned murder.
