A blind man from Plumtree was recently accused by his wife for allegedly assaulting her and their child when they just arrived from an evening church service.
But the man claim his wife framed him after he found her making love with a senior district police officer.
Tafara Marazi (37) was supposed to appear in court but the matter could not take off after the prosecution advised them to go and talk over their differences at home. This was after he said his wife, Senzeni Ndlovu (34) was the one who had assaulted him.
He said the assault on him took place in February and he had his wife arrested after she assaulted him, but later on in April 2 he was charged with allegedly assaulting his wife.
He claimed his wife was having an affair with a senior police officer in Plumtree (names with held) who has facilitated her looting of all their properties from the matrimonial home and taking them together with their child.
On April 2 2015 at 9pm Ndlovu left home for a church service in the company of Nyasha Marazi her daughter aged two years. On April 3 at 12 midnight she returned home and Marazi demanded keys for the house from her which she had used to unlock the door to gain entry. Ndlovu alleged refused with them. Marazi allegedly assaulted her. He locked the door to the complainant's bedroom and she and the child slept in the sitting room. She sustained some injuries and the matter was reported to the police, leading to husband's arrest.
