Man in trouble for stealing dogs

A MAN from Ntepe area in Gwanda is in trouble after he went to Makhaphela Farm at Khaynyama area in Filabusi and stole two dogs.
Bornwell Ndlovu (24) pleaded guilty to the charge of stock theft when he appeared before Filabusi magistrate Mzingaye Moyo on Tuesday. The magistrate convicted and sentenced him to pay $50 fine or spend 20 days in jail.
The prosecutor Smart Tafireyi told the court that sometime in August 2015 Ndlovu went to Makhaphela farm where he stole two dogs belonging to John Ntuliki (74).
Ntuliki found out that the dogs were stolen by Ndlovu and reported the matter to the police. Ndlovu was arrested and the two dogs worth $80 were recovered.
