Shopkeeper allegedly steals goods worth over $400 from employer

A shop keeper at Mbembesi Business Centre allegedly stole goods worth over $400 from her employer.
Veneer Nyathi (21) was not asked to plead to the theft charge when she appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Batanai Tuwe.
The magistrate remanded him to a further date for trial.
The court heard that on September 15 2015 Nyathi created a shortfall in the stock at the shop resulting to $540 not being accounted for.
This was discovered by her employer Jabulani Dube (33) during a stock take which was conducted between July 6 and August 15.
The value of the theft was $490 after it was discovered that only good worth $50 were taken through credit.
A report made to the police led to Nyathi's arrest.
