President Robert Mugabe's representative in Matabeleland North Cain Mathema has vowed to report pastors who don't preach prosperity gospel to God once he gets to heaven.
Mathema said it was wrong for pastors to concentrate on preaching about prayer ignoring wealth.
Mathema said he would ask God to jail pastors who ignore wealth issues.
"During his visit in Cuba recently Pope Francis spoke about poverty affecting African countries and many churches are not preaching about wealth but talk merely about praying," Mathema began.
"But when I get to heaven I will ask the Father (God) to jail those people because they were given wealth and refused to take it.
"It is sad that those who are rich use that wealth to abuse the poor while those who are poor submit themselves to be abused by the wealthy."
