Man rapes step daughter twice

A man from Village Sibharo at Ardabalu in Umguza allegedly raped his step daughter twice when his wife left him with the child while going to do her vending job.
This was heard by a Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya when the man who can not be named to protect the identity of the child appeared before him charged with rape. He was not asked to plead.
The magistrate remanded him to October 30.
The court heard that on October 6 2015 the mother of the 13 year old girl left her with her step father when she went to sell her wares at Shashe Store. The step father raped her on the day and again on October 7 and the girl later told her mother and a report was made to the police leading to his arrest.
