A MAN from Kensington in Bulawayo is in trouble after he was found in possession of explosives without licence.
Vivian Maphosa (52) was not asked to plead to the charge of illegal possession of explosives when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Charity Maphosa.
The magistrate remanded him out of custody to November 16 for trial.
The court heard that on October 29 this year detectives from Minerals Unit in Bulawayo received a tip that there were illegal gold panners mining at Kensington.
They raided the area and on arrival they search Maphosa and found him in possession of one emulate and one caped fuse which were in a 20litre metal bucket. One emulate and caped fuses worth $20.
When asked to produce a licence he failed and this led to his arrest.
