Accident kills 5

Five people died on the spot while nine others were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in burst its left rear tyre and veered off the road before overturning.
The accident occurred along the Kwekwe-Gokwe road near Green Diamond Hotel, in Gokwe at around 1145 hours on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi says the Nissan Vannette had 13 passengers and the driver's name has been identified as Farai Maseko (21).
The injured were rushed to Gokwe District Hospital for treatment while the deceased were taken to the same hospital for post mortems.
Police say investigations are underway and the names of the deceased will be announced in due course after their next of kin have been advised.
