A woman disparate for a child bought a pregnant woman's urine for $3 so at to trick her hubby into believing that she is pregnant.

Aquiline Chinyawure from Muzari village under Chief Nembudziya connived with her friend Sidumisile Masara to convince a pregnant Irene Mapurisa to sell them her urine.

Chinyawure wanted to do a pregnancy test using Mapurisa's urine as a way of bringing back her ex-boyfriend Stephen Phiri who had left her for another woman.

Owen Mashoko, a villager from Nembudziya said that Mapurisa was approached by Chinyawure who was in the company of Masara.

"The two women approached Mapurisa and asked her to sell them her urine for $3. Astonished by such a request, Mapurasi inquired the women what they wanted to do with it (urine). They told her they wanted to do a pregnancy test using the sample hoping that Phiri might change his mind after finding out that Chinyawure was pregnant" said Mashoko.

"Maurisa then sold them her urine.

"Mapurisa fell for the trick and she gave them her urine which she had put in a small container. On the same day, Mapurisa confided in her mother. It did not go down well with Mapurisa's mother and she demanded to know the reason behind the two women's weird request. She them reported the matter to headman Muzari who forwarded the matter to Chief Njelele".

Chief Nembudziya said the two women's action was taboo.

"What these women did is taboo and unheard of, they should have looked for other ways of bringing back Phiri than to use someone else's urine. I cautioned them not to do such a thing ever again."
