A female teacher at  Madlelanyoni Secondary school in Ntabazinduna went berserk after she armed herself with a knife  and attempted to stab  the headmistress over witchcraft allegations.

Mthulisi Dzingeni aged 35 confronted her headmistress Jocelyn Moyo (41) in her office.

Dzingeni had concealed a kitchen knife under her dress.

While in the office she started levelling witchcraft allegations against Moyo saying she bewitched her child who was not feeling well.

As that was not enough, Dzingeni threatened to stab Moyo saying she wanted to 'fix' her for bewitching her child.

Sensing danger, Moyo screamed for help and attracted the attention of other teachers and pupils who quickly rushed to her office to see what was happening.

Dzingani pulled out a knife from her dress and charged at the teachers and pupils leading them to flee in different directions.

That gave Dzingeni a chance to lock the office door with Moyo begging for mercy.

One of the teachers, Ben Chatambudza gathered courage and forced the door open and retrained Moyo from stabbing he headmistress.

Dzingeni, in a fit of rage started shouting on top of her voice saying she wanted to kill  Moyo for allegedly bewitching her child.

After the commotion, Moyo reported the incident to the police leading to Dzingeni's arrest.

However, Dzingani was not done at the police station; she picked up to half bricks and attempted to strike Moyo at the charge office.

Inn court, Dzingeni pleaded guilty and fined $200.
