Victoria Falls to house arts unversity

Government is planning to setting up another university in Victora Falls.
 
Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development deputy minister, Godfrey Gandawa  said the university is part of plans of promoting humanities.

He said the ministry was not only focusing on STEM.

"I can tell you that the ministry is working on building a university of fine arts in Victoria Falls" he told an audiance at ZITF last week.

"We have big plans for the future of our youths"

"We are set to build a world class institution that will improve our arts industry into a competitive sector internationally and regionally. The arts is an industry that contributes to the country's economy, hence it should be taken seriously."
