MDC-T force BCC councillors to endorse Zhou as BCC town clerk

MDC-T senior official Eddie Cross summoned Bulawayo City Council councillors today and ordered them to endorse Sikhangele Zhou as new town clerk.

Zhou is currently acting town clerk.

Informed sources told Bulawayo24.com that Cross held an emergency meeting with councillors at the party provincial offices this morning.

Cross ordered councillors to back Zhou as substantive TC (town clerk).

" However, some councillors did not turn up for the meeting.

"Therefore another caucus session was scheduled for 3pm today".
