The muggings take place in the evening.

Residents say they have  tried to engaged the bar owners on the matter but to no avail.

"Many people have died after being stabbed near the bar.

"It is better that the place be closed' said a resident who identified himself as Joel.

"What is surprising is that people continue flocking to the bar".

"People have been stabbed moments after disembarking from commuter omnibuses.

"Some have been robbed of whatever they would be carrying" she said.

Area councillor, Pilate Moyo expressed concern over high criminal activities emanating from the bar.
