LUPANE State University (LSU) will officially move to the university campus site in Lupane in Matabeleland North province next month.
In a notice, the university, which has been operating from Bulawayo said this will be a major milestone for the institution.
The university was supposed to move to its Lupane base in January but missed the date as contractors delayed some construction work due to lack of money.
The university, however, said only conventional students in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Geography and Population Studies and Department of Languages will relocate in the first phase.
Lectures will commence on 25 July 2016.
"Teaching and learning will be held at Lupane Campus Site at the commencement of the 2016 First Semester. There will be shared accommodation on campus at a cost of $280 per semester per student. Meals will be provided at prices to be determined by the Student Affairs Committee and the Food Committee. All affected students are therefore being advised to adequately prepare for the relocation," said LSU.
It added that a total of 350 students under the conventional registration and 60 members of staff are going to be part of the first relocation phase.
