'Am an angel sent by God,' says Mphoko

ACTING President Phelekezela Mphoko has told Bulawayo residents that he is "an angel who was just sent to deliver the goods"

Mphoko said this as he  continued his  day-old chicks donations in Bulawayo.

On Sunday he dished out 3000 more in Nkulumane constituency, bringing to 18,000 the number of birds he has donated.

Mphoko says the communities would be economically empowered and the donation is in line with  Zim-Asset.

"We're donating these chicks because we want to economically empower our communities through this income-generating project. I'm not expecting to get a commission or tithe from you because I'm not God, but an angel who was just sent to deliver the goods," he said.

For the past month he has been donating to Nketa-Emganwini constituency's.

Next Sunday, Mphoko will donate another batch of chicks to residents in the same constituency.
